I WAS going to continue my walk through Venus charming garden, but I have been interrupted. My sweet-heart has been away visiting his family for (good heavens!) two whole weeks, and I have started to miss him big time. This is not surprising considering our powerful, obsession creation Venus to Pluto aspects. If you’ve ever been in a relationship where you couldn’t eat, sleep or think clearly when the other person was away, you most likely had this configuration. Venus role in this, with her attractive, seductive nature is fairly obvious, but it might be a good idea to examine Pluto’s role in this play, which could very well be a drama with a some serious jealously issues if you have doubts about your partners fidelity.
First off, Pluto rules Scorpio and there is NO halfway with Scorpio. He fears nothing, and wants to know everything and has a will that goes beyond what most of us would like to understand. I say “would like” because not everything between heaven and earth is pleasant and Pluto has a passionate need to understand it ALL.
You might want to think a bit about how you got to know this person. Did it start with a careful sharing of secret stuff, things you weren’t usually comfortable talking about, but for some reason could share with him/her? Did you feel a growing unease at some point, to the degree that you considered avoiding talking to the person, or at least, not sharing so much of yourself only to find your intentions blown away the next time you started chatting? These are typical of a teeming of Venus and Pluto.
Then of course, there is the matter of sheer physical attraction. In it’s self close to irresistable and should you have other aspects that support this romance then count your blessings. The slow burning embers in the coupling of these planets will give you a fire that burns for years.
One word of caution. If you decide to enter Pluto’s watery domain (Scorpio is a water sign) be prepared to be changed in one way or another. When you’ve had all your secrets laid bare and find you are still loved, nothing can really be the same again.
